Shipping Today & Yesterday contributor and former Commodore of P&O, Ian Gibb, was awarded the Merchant Navy Medal on 23rd November by admiral the right Honourable Lord West of Spithead.

This prestigious medal, the 161st to be awarded, was the last to be presented under the current arrangements. The Queen has agreed for future medals to come under the Medals and awards Committee. Many congratulations Ian.
