In 1984 she was sold to Archimedes Shipping of Malta and renamed Mont Fort, and in 1988 she joined Fortune Shipping, also of Malta, as Master A. in 1990 she was sold to Hua Hin Shipping and renamed Hua Xin, and on 26th March 1994 she arrived at Guangzhou to be broken up.

She operated the Southampton to Santander service but had a short career with Aznar, being sold to the Ministry of Maritime Transport of Libya in 1977 and renamed Toletela. In 2005 she was renamed Rose-I for her final journey to Alang where she arrived on 5th November.

The 2,720gt Monte Contes was built in 1975 by Juliana Gijonese at Gijon and operated the Barcelona-Ibiza- Palma-Valencia service. In 1978 she moved to Transmediterranea as Ciudad de Ceuta and ran on the Algeciras to Tangier route. On 16th July 2000 she collided with Ciudad de Tánger in the Straits of Gibraltar. Six people died and the ship was beyond economic repair. On 4th September 2001 she arrived at Santander to be broken up.

In 1991 she moved to Egyptian owners as Junior M. on 21st august 2000 she arrived at Aliaga to be broken up.
