In early January control of cruise ship operator Reederei Peter Deilmann passed from one German private equity house to another, after Callista acquired a majority interest in its parent company MS Deutschland Holding from Aurelius. MS Deutschland owns the 22,496gt/1998 built Deutschland, famous throughout German-speaking Europe as the setting for the popular television romantic comedy series Traumschiff, which is very similar to the 1970s US production The Love Boat.
