In May 2014 Stena Line quietly purchased the DFDS Seaways operated 30,551gt/2002 built Dieppe Seaways (above).

Built as the Superfast X by the HDW shipyard in Kiel the 203 metre long ship is expected to conclude operations between Dover and Calais in November 2014 prior to reverting to her original configuration enabling a capacity of 700 passengers and 660 cars.

Her previous names were Jean Nicoli and Seafrance Moliere and she will be renamed Stena Superfast X. In the spring of 2015 the ferry will be introduced on to the Holyhead-Dublin route in place of the Stena Nordica.
