The 1,433gt VOS Discovery of Vroon Offshore Services was built in 2007 by Zamakona at Santurtzi as Viking Discovery. She was renamed VOS Discovery in 2009.
The 3,186gt Red7 Reel of Jade-Dienst GMBH was built in 1976 by Eid at Nordfjordeid as the platform supply vessel Tender Contest for Wilh. Wilhelmsen. In 1985 she became Highland Reel and in 1992 she was converted into a cable layer. In 1995 she moved to Boa Offshore as Boa Reel, and in 1998 she joined Havila Shipping as Havila Reel. In 2003 she was acquired by Bourbon Offshore as Bourbon Reel and the following year she became DP Reel. She joined her current owners in 2014.
The 1,294gt Putford Rover of Boston Putford Offshore Safety was built in 1982 by Esercizio at Viareggio as Agip Gryphaea for “SNAM” Soc Nazionale Metanodotti SpA. They renamed her Gryphaea in 1989, and in 1993 she was sold to M. Al- Mojil and renamed Al-Mojil XXXIV. She joined her current owners in 1996.
The 1,420gt Atlantic Explorer of Atlantic Marine & Aviation was built in 1981 by Appledore Shipbuilding as the Kinterbury for the Royal Navy. In 2001 she was converted into a research vessel and in 2006 she joined Panmarine as Deepworker. She became Atlantic Explorer in 2013.
