The Port of Genoa is a major Italian seaport on the Mediterranean Sea. With a trade volume of 51.6 million tonnes, it is the busiest port of Italy by cargo tonnage. There are also numerous ferries and Ro-Ros which we look at today.

The 15,375gt Maestro Sun of Swiss Company, Maestro Shipping. She was built in 1986 by Frederikshavns Vaerft as the Mercandian Sun II for Per Henriksen. In 1993 she joined Seaboard Marine as Seaboard Sun and then, in 2000, she moved to Crowleys as Crowley Sun. She joined her current owners in 2008.
The 32,647gt Eurocargo Venezia of Grimaldi was built in 2011 by Hyundai Mipo at Ulsan.
The 22,900gt Elyssa of Tunisian Company Cotunav. She was built in 2000 by Flensburger at Flensburg as the Und Karadeniz for Und RoRo. In 2005 she joined Norfolk Line as Maersk voyager before moving to her current owners in 2010.
