The Star Pisces was built in 1990 by Masa Yards at Turku as the car ferry Kalypso for Rederi AB Slite. In 1993 she was sold to Star Cruises for conversion into a cruise ship. She currently operates overnight gambling cruises out of Hong Kong. The Superstar Virgo was built in 1999 by Jos. L. Meyer at Papenburg and is the current flagship of the Star Cruises fleet. She will operate from Kaohsiung in 2017.
