Twelve guests of MSC Cruises were confirmed dead following the terrorist attack during a shore excursion at the port of La Goulette, Tunisia on 18th March. The twelve people in question were believed to be 2 Colombians, 3 French, 3 Japanese, 2 Spanish, 1 British and 1 Belgian. According to MSC Cruises, thirteen people were injured in the tragic event, of which two were in serious condition.
