The keel laying ceremony of the Seabourn Encore, the first of two ultra-luxury cruise ships that Fincantieri will build for Seabourn, brand of Carnival Corporation, was held on 15th September at the Marghera shipyard.

The 41,700gt/600 guest ship is due to join Seabourn’s fleet at the end of 2016, will be 210 metres long and 28 metres wide and will be have a cruising speed of 18.6 knots.
