The 72,458gt/1995 built Celebrity Century is reported as being destined to join CDF (Croisières de France), the Paris-based subsidiary of Pullmantur/Royal Caribbean, in spring 2015.
The ship will join the 1,444-berth 47,427gt/1990 built CDF Horizon (formerly a Celebrity ship) and replace the smaller 47,413gt/1992 built Zenith (formerly a Celebrity ship), which is scheduled to operate cruises from Marseille for CDF from mid-April to mid-November 2014. This fleet change, announced by CDF, probably explains why the Celebrity Century is curtailing her Asia season in 2015 and redeploying to Europe in the spring.
