The 168,666gt Ovation of the Seas was floated out from the confines of her building hall at Meyer Werft in Papenburg on 18th February (above). As is the norm nowadays, she emerged stern first and is now being made ready for her debut in April 2016.

The conveyance down the River Ems followed, along with sea trials and completion at Bremerhaven, including the addition of her North Star pod. The Ovation of the Seas was then scheduled to proceed to Southampton ready for her maiden sailing, an addition to her schedule, on 14th April. The third Oasis Class ship, the Harmony of the Seas, will visit Southampton in May upon delivery from her birthplace in St. Nazaire, France.
She was noted out on sea trials on 10th March.
