Work began on Carnival Cruise Lines’ new flagship on 14th October at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone Yard. On 6th November the Carnival Corporation & plc announced it will increase fleet capacity by nearly 10% between 2014 and 2016, fuelled largely by the addition of four new ships across four brands in less than 18 months. The ships in question are the Costa Diadema, Regal Princess, Britannia and AIDAprima.
