MSC Cruises has announced its 2016-2017 South America programme that includes a reduction in tonnage from five ships to four ships with the MSC Musica, MSC Armonia, MSC Orchestra and MSC Preziosa all scheduled to sail in the region.

The corresponding 2015-2016 season plays host to the MSC Splendida, MSC Magnifica, MSC Lirica, MSC Armonia and MSC Poesia. The reshuffle is due to the increasing Asia/Cuba commitments with the MSC Lirica and MSC opera deployed respectively.
