In early 2017 the newly refurbished 91,740gt/2001 built Norwegian Star is to cruise out of Sydney and Auckland. The ship will commence in Hong Kong on 16th January 2017, cruising to Sydney via Vietnam, Singapore, Bali and several northern Australian ports. Then there will be a 12-day Australia and New Zealand sailing from Sydney departing 6th February 2017.

The Auckland departure will be a 19-day voyage from 18th February 2017. Other parts of NCL’s global deployment plans will see the Norwegian Epic return to Florida in November 2016 to become the line’s largest ship to homeport from Port Canaveral. The Norwegian Jade will replace the Norwegian Star and homeport from Tampa from November 2016 through April 2017. NCL will continue to offer a four-ship deployment in Europe during the summer of 2016. The Norwegian Spirit will replace the Norwegian Epic as the brand’s year-round European ship, while the Norwegian Star will sail the Mediterranean and Western Europe in the autumn of 2016 en-route to the Far East.
