Bore Ltd and P&O Ferries signed an agreement on 8th September for the continued charter of the 25,586gt/2011 built Bore Song in the North Sea trade after the current chartering arrangements expire in December 2014.

The Bore Flex ship will receive an exhaust gas scrubbing system via Deltamarin Floating Construction Ltd. which is based on the Delta-Langh scrubber technology. The charter agreements for the 20,296gt/1999 built sisterships Norsky and Norstream were also renewed.

The Port of Tilbury, owned by Forth Ports Ltd., has also signed a contract agreement with P&O Ferries to continue their Ro-Ro service with their long-term shipping partner, Bore. On 4th April 2013 the European Seaway left Dover after withdrawal for a third time since 1st October 2011 for warm lay up in Tilbury.
