After the Fowey tug Cormilan struck a rock at Fowey in April that saw her career as a resident tug end, a replacement has been secured in the form of the 285gt/1982 built Svitzer Constance. Her facelift saw her painted in the livery of her new home port and renamed the Cannis. The new £500,000 tug is slightly larger than the Morgawr and has been in service in Sunderland. The naming ceremony was on 19th September at Albert Quay, Fowey. The Cormilan resides on the River Fal awaiting her fate.
